If your issue is regarding an internal leak of any kind, please turn off the system immediately and call our office on 9703 2500
Applicable to evaporative cooling only: If the system continues to leak when switched off, turn off the main water supply to the house and call our office.
If this does not rectify the issue, please proceed.
If this does not resolve your issue, please continue.
Please do a full reset of your power by switching off at the switchboard for 5 minutes. Switch back on and try switching on the system again.
Remote thermostat: Change batteries and if issue still persists, do a power restart at the mains, as per above instructions. If this does not resolve your issue, please continue.
HAVE YOU HAD THE SYSTEM RUNNING FOR 30 MINUTES OR MORE?
The system requires time to switch on, allow water to get to the unit, wet the pads and begin cooling your home.
DO YOU HAVE DOORS/WINDOWS OPEN?
Evaporative cooling requires windows to be open in each room to promote evaporation, circulate the air and stop pressure buildup in the home. Open windows in each room and either multiple windows or a door in the main living area.
IS IT HUMID OUTSIDE?
Evaporative cooling works best in dry heat. The evaporation process is not possible if there is already humidity in the air. On days of high humidity, run the evaporative cooler on "Fan" mode only. Evaporative coolers have limited cooling capacity on humid days or in temperatures over approximately ~32 degrees.
A slight banging sound may be heard on windy days due to the wind blowing the winter seal open. This is unavoidable, but please check outside to ensure nothing has come loose on the roof.
Applicable for remote thermostats only:
Change batteries and if issue still persists, do a power restart at the mains (after changing batteries). If this does not rectify the issue please proceed.
Applicable to remote thermostat only: Please check the batteries do not need replacing.
